Every year the quiet historical town of Milton comes alive in colour and song as it celebrates its rural lifestyle and rich past with the Milton Settlers Fair. A whole host of activities can be found at the fair ranging from historical walks to markets and musical entertainment.

The fair is a celebration of miltons agricultural and heritage significance and recognises this with a "rural tribute" featuring shepp shearing, whip cracking and demonstrations of the areas pioneering skills. Also the fair has many activities for the whole family so everyone can enjoy this celebration of the past. Some of the events include:
