Conjola |
Lake Conjola is the largest lake in the area and arguably the most
beautiful. It has been a popular boating destination for holidaymakers
for many years. Over 60% of the lakes shore is uninhabited national
park which provides a scenic backdrop for you boating experience.The
lake is full of small shelterd coves to explore and great fishing
spots to drop a line into. For the skiing enthusiat the large expansive
lake offers plenty of room to maneuver and can accommodate a large
amount of boat traffic.
The
lake is almost permanently open to the sea but the entrach is dangerous
and not navigable so it is recommended not to use the lake as access
to the ocean. There are 3 easily accessed boat ramps free to use
around the lake with washdown stations that are mandatory to prevent
the spread of noxious weeds. A trip to the lake is well worth it
for plenty of room, plenty of sites and for a great day out in your
watercraft.

| Burill
lake |
Burrill Lake is situated about 5 minutes south of ulladulla and
hs excellent facilities for boat launching. The lake is home to
the local water skiing club indicating its suitability for sking
and other boating activities. The lake is also home to some good
flathead fishing on its sandbars. The lake has 3 public boat ramps
and excellent skiing conditions. Part of the lake backs onto meroo
naational park and provides some scenic views. Birdlife is also
abundant in the lake which means great fishing as well. Burrill
lake is so close to town and easily accessible with good facilities
giving boating enthusiast no excuses not to try it out.
